Any Pipeline Integrity program incorporates two key elements, firstly an assessment of the "as-is" condition of the pipeline - this is most often achieved by an in-line-inspection using sophisticated precision equipment -followed secondly by a determination of what steps are necessary to bring the line back to an "as-new" condition - this process is aided significantly by the Final Report from a successful ILI run as this provides the basis for much of the decision making. NGKS can provide the means to achieve both these goals.

NGKS has developed a specific in-house regimen for interpretation and analysis of inspection data gathered by the various tools in its arsenal. These include, training up dates for the analysis personnel to keep abreast of new developments from R&D,software packages for automated routines, data management software for integration of different data sets, client data presentation software, advanced MAOP code applications software, just to name a few. Many of these are made available to the client with the Final Report.

The NGKS Final Report, though, can be a starting point for other services to kick-in, such as pre-repair defect classifications according to various codes, defect repair recommendations and specific defect repair procedures.

NGKS is also able to provide software to correlate several disparate data sets from inspection runs by different tools for corrosion growth rate assessment, verification of repair methods, repair intervals and re-inspection frequency.
