NGKS' MFL High Resolution tools are well suited for use in any type of product-whether oil, refined products, gas, water or condensate and in pipeline sizes from 8 to 56" diameter.

NGKS MFL vehicles have a proven track record for the detection of metal-loss on the outer and inner surface of the pipewall as well as general and pitting corrosion, corrosion in or near the girthweld HAZ and construction defects within the girthweld.

NGKS' MFL tools use the company's proprietary "Magellan" visualization and analysis software package, which includes a detailed database of defects, pipeline features, geometry defects all enabled, by a tool box, that allows viewing in various formats such as B-Scan or C-Scan.

The software, defect database and analysis report, generated by the NGKS Analysis Centre, are compiled to form a comprehensive Final Report regarding the integrity of the pipeline.
