A prerequisite for an efficient and quality data collection by intelligent tool inspection is pipeline cleaning using custom-built types of scrapers, which largely depends upon the type of inspection survey to be done.

Insufficient cleaning or selection of improper type of scraper may result in tool lodging, jeopardize pipeline and personnel safety and entail additional customer expenses.

NGKS has been a success in the application of various types of its high-quality scrapers manufactured at the Company Production Facility. The cleaning programs are custom-designed by company and pipeline operator engineers for every in-line survey.

All NGKS scrapers (both standard and magnetic) within a size range of 6" to 56" are equipped with pig tracking equipment and can negotiate 1.5 D pipeline bends.
